Santa Fe Playhouse Youth Theatre Intensive 2024

2022 Theatre Intensive Performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Discover the Magic of Theatre: Join the Youth Theatre Intensive at The Santa Fe Playhouse!

Are you looking for a transformative experience for your teen this summer? Look no further than The Santa Fe Playhouse's Youth Theatre Intensive! This is the perfect opportunity for young actors to immerse themselves in the world of theatre, create meaningful connections, and hone their craft over three exciting weeks. I love how the Santa Fe Playhouse brings incredible performances to Santa Fe, I’ve seen some of the best performances that rival any production in New York or LA. But what I really love about the Playhouse is their true dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion - it’s so rare to see an organization truly live out these values, especially in a theatre setting that historically can be an unwelcoming place to minoritized folks.

As I mentioned, there are several full-ride scholarships available. I would have loved to attend a program like this as a teen, but my family for sure would not have been able to manage the cost. The Playhouse leadership truly wants to make it work for all fams, and I know it can be hard to ask for help but I’m here to remind you: asking for help is how we build community!
