Baby-Friendly Spots in Santa Fe – Where to Go When You Need to Get Out

As a new parent, sometimes you just need to get out of the house with your baby – I totally get it! But finding places that are safe, manageable, and actually fun can be a challenge. Don’t worry; I’ve got you covered with some great spots right here in Santa Fe, NM that are perfect for you and your little one.

My Go-To Baby-Friendly Spots in Santa Fe

Here’s a roundup of places I’ve explored with my own infant, who just turned 5 months old today!

Queen Bee Music Association Sing-Along

Mondays at 10:30 am at The Hive (1596 Pacheco St)

Wednesdays at 10:30 am at the Santa Fe Railyard

This lively sing-along is a great way to get your baby moving and grooving to music, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and caregivers.

Postpartum Yoga at The Birthing Tree

Mondays at 11:00 am with @ancient__womb

Reconnect with your body and find your center with this gentle postpartum yoga class. It’s the perfect way to focus on self-care while bonding with your baby.

Bilingual Books and Babies at La Farge Library

Fridays at 10:00 am

This sweet storytime is a fantastic way to introduce your baby to books and language in a bilingual setting. Other Santa Fe Public Library locations offer this program too! Wednesdays at Main Library and Saturdays at the Southside Library at 10 am!

Postpartum Support Groups at Many Mothers

Wednesdays at 10:00 am, led by @artesana_therapy_

Thursdays at 10:00 am, The Village, led by @sofianicoleromero

These support groups provide a safe space to share your experiences, connect with other new moms, and find community support during your postpartum journey.

A Note on “age appropriate”

Everything on the Santa Fam Calendar is designed for kids aged 0-5, but I take a creative approach to what that means. For instance, your baby may not be ready to do the craft project at the library, but it’s still a great opportunity for you to get involved, meet other mamas, and make connections. Plus, making friends with parents of older kids gives you a sneak peek into what’s coming next – and their advice is priceless!

Stay in the Loop!
